We’ve put out our very first update for one of our WordPress Shopping Cart extensions! It feels like just the other day that we released our very first extension, a little way down the road now and we’ve got a range of extensions and our very first updated for one.
The new and improved Affiliates & Tracking extension has been updated. Besides the name changing from “Affiliates Tracking” there are also some new features and improvements.
Those of you who already own the Affiliates Tracking extension can update your extension to the new and improved Affiliates & Tracking extension. Simply go to your downloads section (you maybe need to login to view this page) and get the new plugin files to upload to your server. For new customers, you can purchase from here.
New Features
Google Analytics pageviews and eCommerce tracking
This new functionality requires you to have a Google Analytics account. It has 2 available options, to track pageviews and to track eCommerce finished orders. This data is sent from the Affiliates & Tracking extension to your Google Analytics account.
Language/translation support
Version 1.2 of the Affiliates & Tracking extension now has it’s own language files which can be translated accordingly.
Automatic updates/upgrades functionality.
Now with the ability to update this extension from the admin “Plugins” section in your WordPress dashboard.  Simply click the “update” link when there is a new version available. No need to FTP any files or extract any .zip archives.
