WordPress Newsletter plugin : s2Member Subscribers

This extension will capture email/newsletter subscribers from your s2Member plugin registration forms into the Newsletter plugin so that you can then send them bulk emails through WordPress at a later stage.

 

Installation

1. Make sure that you have the WordPress Newsletter plugin and s2Member framework plugin installed AND ACTIVATED.

2. Purchase the s2Member Subscribers and then download it from your downloads management section in ZIP format.

 

Automatic Installation

Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload in your WordPress dashboard where you can browse to the newsletters-s2member.zip file and then click the “Install Now” button. Upon successful installation you will be given the option to activate the plugin immediately so you can click the “Activate Plugin” link and skip the upcoming activation instructions.

Manual Installation

1. Extract the ZIP archive named newsletters-s2member.zip in order to be presented with a single folder named newsletters-s2member.

2. Upload the newsletters-s2member folder to the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation, as seen in the example image below. Follow the upcoming activation instructions to activate the s2Member Subscribers extension plugin.

 

Activation

Once you have installed the Newsletters – s2Member Subscribers extension via FTP you need to activate it.

To activate it you need to go to the normal Plugins > Installed Plugins section via your admin sidebar. There you will see the extension as a plugin listed amongst other plugins, as in the screenshot below:

Once activated you will see it listed in the Newsletters > Extensions section (via the “Newsletters” menu item in the admin sidebar), as seen in this image below:

Usage

s2Member Subscribers extension settings: s2Member > API /List Servers

1. Enable Integration

Enable or disable integration to subscribe new registrations to specific lists.

2. Custom Fields

Choose the custom registration fields that you added under s2Member > General Options > Registration/Profile Fields & Options section for Newsletter plugin subscribers to capture.

3. Subscription Mode

With the first radio button selected- Let the User Pick List(s), it will allow the user to choose the lists that they want to subscribe to.

4. Subscription Mode

With the second radio button selected, Choose Predefined List(s) Per Level, allow you to choose the predefined lists to subscribe to per level. E.g., List for Free Subscribers, List for Level 1,2,3 Members.
