Automatically add variations to new products?

I am going to be adding hundreds of new products, and all will have the same variation list. Is there a setting to automatically turn on the Variation option when I create a new item? It would save a lot of scroll and clicking time for each one. Thank you!

Even better would be the ability to duplicate products! Will that happen in future releases?
