The flash file upload application is a small, yet powerful piece of software which gives you the ability to upload large files to your web server while seeing a visual progress bar that indicates the percentage of the file that has been uploaded.

There are additional configuration settings which allow you to push the purpose of the application further, but you don't need to bother with them if you don't need them. The defaults will give you the simplicity you need!
