4 Reasons to Outsource Marketing Services Overseas

To outsource or not to outsource is the question that most companies struggle with when it comes to marketing their products and services. As a startup, you always need to find ways that your potential customers will know the new services you are offering. According to recent statistics, the outsourcing industry in 2018 amounted to a whopping 85.6 billion USD most of which was provided by the IT industry. Outsourcing has grown exponentially in the past decade. Fast-forward to 2021, and outsourcing is now very normal. The market was worth $132.9 billion in 2020, a staggering 55% increase from the figures in 2018. The reason for this exponential growth? Firms desire to obtain the skills they require in the most cost-effective manner possible.

For your products and services to be known, strategy and market analysis are fundamental.  This is why more and more companies are outsourcing marketing services overseas. When you are running a small business time is an extremely precious commodity. Marketing will take plenty of time and resources. If you are wondering whether you should outsource your marketing services abroad, here are a couple of reasons that will help you make up your mind:

       1. You Get Experts to Your Team

One of the main reasons why you need to get help from more experienced marketers abroad is because they bring a wide range of experience and skills to your team. Most use the latest technology that gives wider opportunities. These high-end professionals use the latest technology to find marketing solutions.

Therefore if you outsource, you will get a team of experts and specialized technology added to your company. Because of their experiences, they know how to implement newer strategies in the market and can use the tools and packages to coordinate the processes. For instance, if you get a great writer in your team, they will generate top-notch, SEO friendly and well-researched articles that will be useful to the entire project. With outsourcing, you gain both the skill-set and experience.

A significant issue with hiring qualified marketing agencies is that they are quite expensive. You may not be able to afford their services if you are a small company. These costs will be too much and may not be sustainable. So why you need a skill-set that your in-house marketers lack, you also need to consider how much it will cost you in the long run.

      2.  You Can Expect High-Quality Results

When you hire a marketing professional, you can expect the best results possible. This is not just because of their wide skill-set and expertise. It is because these companies and individuals are strongly motivated to please their clients.

Most of these companies are aware of the fact that because they are on a contractual basis, they can be replaced by better companies at any time. Therefore they are obsessive about the quality they provide to ensure customer retention. They also want their customers to recommend them to their friends who have businesses that need marketing.  You are also assured of communication and customer service quality.

While you can expect to have a broader range of services and agencies to choose from because of the wider opportunities from outsourcing, there is also the chance that you may hire rookies. You may end up finding people who call themselves professionals, but they are just starting. Such people may ruin the reputation of your company completely.

       3. You Have More Free Time

This may discourage you, but according to statistics, only 30% of startups survive their first three years. Marketing is not your only business activities. Numerous other things within your business need your attention.

Therefore if you can delegate some aspects, you feed up some time to deal with different aspects that need you. Besides, you will also not have to deal with sick days, fires, managerial headaches and increasing employee motivation. Those will be dealt with by the agencies. All your will be concerned about is quality delivery. You will also not need space to work because they can work from abroad.

On the downside, there may be less quality delivery if the management of these teams is not top-notch. There is a risk that you will receive terrible work because these teams are poorly managed. As such, your business will suffer because of circumstances you cannot change.

      4.  When You Do Not Have a Marketing Background

As a business owner, you wish you know every detailed about the different aspects of your business. For you to build an internal marketing team, you need to know the positions to be filled and the qualifications to look for when hiring.

This may not be a luxury you have. It may be difficult for you to choose the correct candidates for the various positions to be filled. Therefore a good reason to outsource these services is to ensure that you have qualified professionals working on your brand. It will guarantee you better results faster.

On the downside, if the agency you are hiring is a startup itself, they may not have hired qualified professionals, and your business will suffer a great deal. These people may not even be as passionate about what they do as you want and results will suffer.

Conclusion

Search engine optimization in this era of technology is a great way to ensure that you are known. It will help bring business to your company and guarantee you more profits. However, while outsourcing overseas is a great option, it is critical to make sure that you know what to expect when choosing an agency. If you choose wrongly, your company may fail. It will also get your hands free so you can worry about getting capital and managing productions.

Great points. We have outsourced our marketing to a company in India and they did a great job. They are experts in SEO and have increased our search traffic by 50%, and have been easy to work with.

In-house teams are hard to maintain and add more cost to the process but if you do outsource, you will get quality work at a low cost. The only disadvantage is you won’t be able to see your employee working on your project but the pro is you will get the work completed within the deadline promised.

“It is because these companies and individuals are strongly motivated to please their clients.” Good one. Not many understand this and worry about the quality. The quality aspect can be assured more in outsourcing than with the in-house team.
