A new version 4.6 is now available for the WordPress Newsletter plugin.

New Feature Highlights
Sending APIs
We’ve integrated some sending APIs in this version. APIs integrated in this version includes Mandrill, Amazon SES and SendGrid.
The sending APIs are interfaces of email sending services that allow you to send emails/newsletters through their API directly.
Import Subscribers with AJAX upload and preview
A new import feature makes it easier and faster to import subscribers. It pre uploads the csv with AJAX and preview it to make it easier to bulk import subscribers. It will also auto detect columns in your csv file to import other fields.
Fixed Issues Highlights
- New latest posts instance doesn’t fire unless paused and unpaused
- Visual Composer and Multilingual breaks Ajax calls URLs
- Send as Newsletter with post(s) shortcodes in it breaks
- Admin cannot edit hidden fields on subscribers
- Custom fields removed on “resubscribe” link
- Autoresponders sent to all subscribers with always send off

Existing Users
If you already have our WordPress Newsletter plugin installed, you can update it automatically under Newsletters > Updates in the plugin. The update should show there already with it’s release notes but feel free to click “Check Again” if it doesn’t, to clear the cache.
Alternatively, you can download the ZIP from your downloads section on our site. Be sure to deactivate, upload and reactivate the Newsletter plugin when installing manually since essential procedures are followed upon the reactivation to ensure that all database tables, database table fields and options are in place for a bug free experience.

I have been using Newsletter to manage the mailing from my web site for around 3 months now and love it. The automation features save me a lot of admin time that I can invest back into my business. One of the biggest timesavers for me is the bounced email handling. I was delighted to have this set up with the Mandrill service but then they changed their pricing policy and I thought I was going to have to pay the $20pm subscription. With this latest release of the Newsletter plugin I can and have set up my system to use Amazon SES at a substantial saving over the new Mandrill pricing.
I wanted to say a big thank you for being so responsive to what happening in the marketplace and adding support for other email sending service.
