In my opinion, virtual reality is one of the most exciting new technological innovations in recent years, and one of the things that I’ve noticed about this cutting-edge tech is that companies are getting creative in the ways they use it to market their products and services and raise their profiles.

In other words, VR is no longer just about gaming or aimlessly walking around in the metaverse.

In 2025, it can also be used to benefit several other industries, such as healthcare, education, manufacturing, tourism, logistics, real estate, interior design, retail, food service, automotive, and skilled trades, to name just a few.

Using VR or AR (augmented reality) in this way also reduces costs, especially where travel is concerned. This can lead to becoming a greener company, reducing its carbon footprint, boosting conversions and increasing revenue.

 

How else do B2B companies use VR technology, and what other benefits are there?

B2B companies can use VR technology to showcase their products or services in greater detail in a visually stunning, 3D computer-generated environment. This allows clients to explore things before those products, for example, are physically manufactured, to give them a much better insight about what’s to come.

The very nature of this means that companies using this technology can tweak the designs of their products and make necessary improvements before the manufacturing process starts.
