What is a Recurring Payment?

A recurring payment is a charge applied to a cardholder in predetermined intervals for services or goods of an ongoing subscription. If you agreed on a subscription for 24 months, the recurring payment will automatically deduct from your account every 24 months.

This is great, but could you do a quick tutorial on how to set >up< pre approved payments? and not cancel them? That'd be awesome.

Thanks for this tutorial anyway. I originally had trouble finding out how to get to the pre approved area, especially with the old Paypal theme. Man that was irritating to navigate LOL.

It is not possible to create pre-approved payments or subscriptions in the PayPal account directly from what I know. It can only be done with the gateway or API such as a checkout using PayPal Standard or Express. I’m glad that you found the article useful.
