We had a wonderful October at Tribulant Software and it flew by so quickly, just as every other month does when you’re busy and constantly occupied with tasks.

Hopefully you had a great month as well! I hope you were productive, enjoyed using our WordPress plugins and that you received the necessary assistance from support when required.

There are amazing happenings coming up at Tribulant Software before the end of the year. We are currently working hard on preparing new releases for November and December so that all our customers have faster, more robust WordPress sites for the December holidays. New Plugin Releases

Awesome new releases were made throughout the month:

Shopping Cart plugin 1.7

The WordPress Shopping Cart plugin – also known as Checkout – version 1.7 included amazing new features which were useful to all our users. It also had a complete overhaul in respect of performance which makes it twice as fast as the predecessor. If you haven’t upgraded yet, get the latest version now, we’re confident you’ll be impressed.

Checkout – PayPal Payments Advanced

The PayPal Payments Advanced extension plugin gives you the ability to use PayPal’s very own gateway in your WordPress Shopping Cart plugin. The extension is affordable, quick to install and you can use it with both your PayPal Advanced and PayPal Payflow Link account.

Checkout – Product Reviews

Want to get reviews on your WordPress shop for your products? This is the ultimate solution. It includes it’s own, default product reviews system to capture and display reviews or alternatively, you can change the integration setting to use the Yotpo product reviews system. Yotpo is like the popular Disqus, just not for comments but for reviews. Try it out!

Great Site Updates

We’ve made several improvements to the Tribulant Software website.

The first and most important part is that we have faster server side caching, leverage caching and also cloud content delivery in certain parts. The idea is to make the website faster for both new and existing customers and it seems to be working very well.

In addition to that, several fixes and improvements were made to the interface for easier browsing and visual elements to give a better understanding of what’s going on, on the screen.

Last but not least, we added a promotional system to make our customers aware of offers and announcements. Such as giving a discount coupon or mentioning our refund policy, etc. It simply clarifies certain factors and it gives many customers discount just for showing interest. These offers and announcements will slide in from the right. They are not obtrusive and you can close them permanently with a single click and it will remember that.
