A new version of the WordPress Newsletter plugin 4.4.3, is a minor release containing some much needed fixes, improvements and new features to our users.

New Feature Highlights
Emails sent filters and bulk actions
You can apply filters and bulk actions per email sent under the “emails sent” section. Filter it by sent/unsent, mailing list, read, click bounce etc. and perform bulk actions on them. You will be able to select filtered subscribers and export, delete or assign them to mailing lists.
Change PayPal Protocol from SSL to TLS
 
If you are using paid subscriptions in the Newsletter plugin with PayPal as the payment method, you will be affected by the discontinued support of SSL 3.0 by PayPal. We’ve changed the PayPal protocol from SSL to TLS to prevent your PayPal IPN from not working. Read more about SSL 3.0 by PayPal.
Amazon SNS bounce Alternative wp_remote_request
A new alternative code will now cater for both PHP CURL and socket connections.
It will check if you have CURL installed/enabled and if not, it will use wp_remote_request() which makes an http socket connection.
Turn on/off the Excerpt length/text
You will now be able to turn excerpt length/text on or off in configuration settings. You can specify your own excerpt length or leave it off to allow excerpt length specified by a plugin or theme to be used.
