Newsletter plugin 4.4.4
Good news to our WordPress Newsletter plugin, email marketing users. A new update with some new features, enhancements and bug fixes has been released today.
This is a minor release, but contain some important new features.
What’s new in version 4.4.4?
There are 18 changes in this update. See the release notes for a detailed list of changes and then I will give you a quick overview of the most important new features:
Multiple, unlimited latest post subscriptions
What a powerful feature added to our current latest post subscription section which sends out latest posts on an predefined interval. However, it only sends an excerpt of the latest post. You will now be able to setup multiple instances of this latest post subscriptions.
Some other new features
We’ve added a new setting to hide current subscriptions in the manage subscription page. Some users requested this feature. It’s added to allow users who don’t want their subscribers to unsubscribe from current subscriptions and only be able to subscribe to new mailing lists.
Another useful feature which was added is the ability to merge mailing lists together.
And then we added a jQuery UI datepicker for the date custom field. This will allow easy selection of dates for the date custom field and we’ll be expanding the functionality of this custom field in future releases of the Newsletter plugin as well.
