Newsletters – Contact Form 7 Subscribers

Here’s a really handy little plugin for you Contact Form 7 aficionados out there – and it’s FREE! 🙂

The Contact Form 7 Subscribers extension plugin integrates the WordPress Newsletter plugin with everyone’s favourite contact form plugin, Contact Form 7, by placing a “Subscribe me to your newsletter” (or whatever label you want to give it) checkbox in your website’s contact form.

When the checkbox is selected, someone who submits a message via the contact form will also be automatically subscribed to your mailing list(s) as specified in the Contact Form 7 configuration. Whether the subscriber has to confirm his subscription via email or not depends on the mailing list’s settings in the Newsletter plugin.

The checkbox placed in the contact form can be set to be pre-checked or not by default, whatever your strategy or preference.
