We have updated the article today for 2026 and have included many other new methods that could help. But, since Google keeps changing YouTube, there’s nothing we can do if a method no longer works. There is no “Block User” in the “About” Section of a Youtube Channel. The only option are “Report user”, Report channel art” and “Report profile picture”.

Try this on 25 – 01 – 27 with a mobile phone, and like many places that suggest is very same tactic, it doesn’t work. The three dots menu doesn’t offer the option mentioned here. So aggravating.

There is no block content option when those directions are followed. Did you even try this?
Google keeps updating every software and service that they have, including their product names, at an alarming rate. Just when you’re happy you got used to their product(s), they redesign or change the layout. It seems they are never satisfied, which ends up causing others, like us, to keep modifying our documentation concerning their products.
For this one, they moved the information from the About tab on computer to the channel’s description below the channel name and changed the name of some of the information. We find this change as not user-friendly. Nonetheless, we have updated the article with the revised information.
