Checkout Better Than WooCommerce?

WooCommerce is extremely popular and specifically due to the fact that it’s free.
Both the core business and 3rd party developers offer paid/premium extensions and themes to use with it.

A customer of our WordPress Shopping Cart plugin (aka Checkout) wrote an article to express why she prefers to use our plugin rather than the WooCommerce plugin for some specific reasons, pointing out both the benefits and downsides of both.

I’m beginning to think I’m the only one who is not a fan of the WooCommerce plugin. With a client, I first took a look at the plugin in 2012. We both liked the idea of it being “free.” But we soon found out that free did come with a price. Most of what the client wanted in their shopping cart was going to require an extension.

We find it wonderful to get positive reviews about our WordPress Shopping Cart plugin since we work hard to evolve it, develop it and support it the way that we do.

Our plugin is slightly different to WooCommerce since it is a premium plugin, offering many features in the core of the plugin which may need to be purchased additionally when using WooCommerce. Our business model is also different. We also have free and paid extensions for our plugin. See the WordPress Shopping Cart plugin extensions.

Different strokes for different folks! We believe in our software and continue to work hard to improve it.

I love this plugin and agree with the comment. If wanting anything outside of common shopping functionality, it’s going to cost money. Tribulant fills a vital gap in the shopping cart space via providing an affordable shopping cart plugin with multiple API integration options. Well done Tribulant!
