Checkout – DPS Payment Express (PX Pay)
It’s with great pleasure that we bring you yet another payment method for the WordPress Shopping Cart plugin. Sold as an extension, the DPS Payment Express payment gateway (also known as DPS PX Pay) allows you to take credit card payments through their secured payment page, allowing your customers to safely make payments for their orders from your online shop.
How does DPS PX Pay work?
Having added some products to their cart, when the customer is ready to pay, they will go through the checkout procedure. When the payment process comes up, they are navigated away from your site to the secure page that DPS provide. Here the customer will enter their billing details, DPS will approve the payment and the customer is navigated back to your site where they are presented with the “Order Success” page. It’s quick, simple and completely secure.

@Tonya,
Even though you can sign up through the Payment Express website, the merchant accounts are usually acquired through the merchant’s bank and bank account directly. http://www.paymentexpress.com/Knowledge_Base/Bank_Guides.aspx
Also, Payment Express is a gateway as opposed to PayPal which is a payment processor. With a Payment Express account you could have additional services such as a POS machine for in-store use, a virtual terminal for charging cards through your merchant interface, etc… http://www.paymentexpress.com/Products
All the best,
Antonie Potgieter
Why would I use this over the Paypal payment? There is no charge for that. You are only charged when a payment is made. Please explain the benefits.
