How does DPS PX Pay work?

Here the customer will enter their billing details, DPS will approve the payment and the customer is navigated back to your site where they are presented with the “Order Success” page. Even though you can sign up through the Payment Express website, the merchant accounts are usually acquired through the merchant’s bank and bank account directly. http://www.paymentexpress.com/Knowledge_Base/Bank_Guides.aspx
Also, Payment Express is a gateway as opposed to PayPal which is a payment processor. With a Payment Express account you could have additional services such as a POS machine for in-store use, a virtual terminal for charging cards through your merchant interface, etc… http://www.paymentexpress.com/Products

Why would I use this over the Paypal payment? There is no charge for that. You are only charged when a payment is made. Please explain the benefits.
