Delete Categories
When you remove a shop category, the database record will be permanently removed and cannot be retrieved at a later stage. Additionally, all associations will be recursively removed as well. At some stage, you might need to remove some images assigned to a product. Please note that images being deleted will be permanently removed and cannot be retrieved at a later stage. Not only the database records are removed, but the actual image files (originals and thumbnails) are deleted/unlinked from the server as well.

Considering that you have already assigned some downloadable files to products, you might need to remove some files at some stage.

Products deleted will be permanently removed from the database and cannot be retrieved again. When a product is removed, all of its associations are permanently removed as well. Associations for products includes the product’s files in the “Files” section, the product’s images in the “Images” and all order items for this product.
