Geotargeting

Banners > Geotargeting

In this section of the plugin, you will be able to manage, edit, and add new locations that you can use for your banner ads and zones. You will be able to add multiple locations to ads and zones to better target your ads. This is optional as it lets you control which locations you would like to serve your ads.

Manage Locations

1. Add New

Clicking this button will take you to ‘Save a Location’ page where you can create a new Location. New locations added will show up on this ‘Manage Locations’ screen after they are added.

2. Bulk Actions

These bulk actions allow you to select multiple locations from the table using the checkboxes and then apply a bulk action on the selected records.

3. Search Locations

Quickly search the database for Locations by typing a country’s name or part of its name (e.g., “ca” for Canada and another) and then clicking the ‘Search Locations’ button.

4. Location Actions

For each of the actions like Edit | View | Copy | Delete, select one of these actions to edit, view, duplicate, or delete the Location.

5. Shortcode

Use a shortcode of a Location on any page/post if you wish to display the ads in this Location. It serves as an archive of all the ads using that Location.

6. Ads

Click on a number to view information and statistics about the ads using that Location.

7. Zones

Click on a number to view information and statistics about the zones using that Location.

6. Screen Options

Click Screen Options to enable/disable the columns and to choose the number of Locations visible per page.

Save a Location

Select the Country, and/or Administrative Division (i.e., state, province, canton, etc.), and/or City.

While you must select a country, you do not have to select an administrative division nor type in a city. Only Country should be filled.
