Update your plugin
- To update your plugin automatically, please click on the “Update Automatically” button. You can also automatically update it in Plugins > Installed Plugins. If you get an error, you can manually upload it. See below point.
- To manually update your plugin, click the “Download” button to download the zip file or download it from your Downloads page in your account. Then, follow either step (you will not your lose data):
- Go to your WordPress dashboard > Plugins > Add Plugin. Manually upload the zip file. This is the fastest way.
- In your WordPress dashboard > Plugins > Installed Plugins, deactivate your plugin. On your computer, extract the zip folder and then use an FTP program like FileZilla or WinSCP to upload the folder wp-mailinglist or newsletters-lite (if you downloaded the free version from WordPress.org) into your plugins folder (wp-content/plugins/). Overwrite all files and reactivate your plugin again in your WordPress dashboard.
- If you have the latest version and it still gives this message, you can click the “Check Again” button to clear that message.
- Under “Changelog”, you will see the changes in the latest release that you’re updating to. Changelog may not appear in certain situations.
Renew Subscriptions
If your subscription is expired, you will get this message. Please go and renew your subscription under your account to get the latest version.
Sometimes, if your subscription is active and it still shows this message, please click Check Again. It is usually due to WordPress transient cache not being updated.
