Please note: In order to use the Realex Payments (redirect) payment gateway with the WordPress Shopping Cart plugin, you need one of the following:

• search engine friendly URLs (“pretty permalinks”) activated in the WordPress admin area, or
• URL rewriting used for the response URL

Realex Payments Configuration

Return URL

For the return URL, use your shopping cart page URL with “?wpcomethod=realexreturn” appended to it. So if your shopping cart page URL is http://domain.com/shopping-cart/ for example, the return URL should be http://domain.com/shopping-cart/?wpcomethod=realexreturn .

Some sites don’t have “pretty permalinks” turned on under Settings > Permalinks in the WordPress dashboard and thus the return URL won’t work since Realex Payments doesn’t support the ampersand (&) in the query string at all.

PLEASE NOTE: If using https:// the return url must begin with https://

Mandatory field SHA1HASH not present – cannot continue. Please check the Developer Documentation for mandatory fields.

This means that SHA1 is currently enabled on your Realex account. Please contact Realex Payments support and ask them to change your hashing method from SHA1 to MD5 on your account. Our plugin uses the MD5 hashing method for transactions.
