WordPress Shopping Cart plugin with Nochex Payment Page Gateway extension plugin.

Installation of Nochex Payment Page

1. Make sure that you have the WordPress Shopping Cart plugin installed.

2. Download the Nochex Payment Page Gateway extension from the downloads management section in a ZIP archive (you may need to login to your Tribulant Software account in order to access your download).

Automatic Installation

3. Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload in your WordPress dashboard where you can browse to the checkout-nochex.zip file and then click the “Install Now” button.

Upon successful installation you will be given the option to activate the plugin immediately so you can click the “Activate Plugin” link and skip the upcoming activation instructions.

Manual Installation

3. Extract the ZIP archive named checkout-nochex.zip in order to be presented with a single folder named checkout-nochex.

4. Upload the checkout-nochex folder to the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation, like seen in the example image below. Follow the upcoming activation instructions to activate the Nochex Payment Page Gateway extension plugin.

Activate Nochex Payment Page

Once you have installed the Nochex Payment Page Gateway extension plugin you need to activate it in order to start using it.

To activate it you need to go to the normal Plugins > Installed Plugins section via your admin sidebar. There you will see the extension as a plugin listed amongst other plugins, look at the screenshot below.

Once activated, you will notice that it is listed in the Checkout > Extensions section via the admin sidebar. As seen in this image below.

Configure Nochex Payment Page

Under Checkout > Configuration > Payment Methods in the WordPress Shopping Cart plugin you will see a box named “Nochex Payment Page” where you can configure your Nochex settings to start selling immediately.

1. Title/Caption

The title/caption of this payment method as it will appear to your customers on the front-end of your shop, on the orders history, invoices, etc.

2. Merchant ID

Your unique Nochex merchant ID provided by Nochex. This is an email address registered with Nochex Online Payment Services.

3. Mode

Set this to “Test” mode to test transactions without any money being transferred to ensure that your application is working correctly.

To test transactions with Nochex Payment Page you can use the following 16 digit test credit card number “1234567890123456” (without the quotes).

4. Background Colour

Hex colour code for the background colour of your Nochex payment page.

5. Foreground Colour

Hex colour code for the foreground colour (font colour) of your Nochex payment page.
