Installation
Installing the WordPress Snow Storm plugin is quick and easy. You can either use the automatic installation which is recommended, or the manual installation if you prefer.
1. Automatic Installation
To automatically install the WordPress Snow Storm plugin, go to “Plugins” in your WordPress dashboard and click the “Add New” button at the top.
Then search “snow storm tribulant” to find the Snow Storm plugin by Tribulant Software. Then click “Install” to install it and afterwards click “Activate” to activate the plugin.
Then go to Settings > Snow Storm in the dashboard to configure the plugin.
2. Manual Installation
Manual installation is rather quick as well and it is only needed when the automatic installation doesn’t work as expected. There are often permission issued which doesn’t allow WordPress to write files on your server, then you’ll need to use this method.
Follow these steps to manually install:
2.1. Download the Snow Storm plugin from WordPress.org in ZIP format.
2.2. Unzip the ZIP file to obtain the snow-storm
folder
2.3. Upload the snow-storm
folder to wp-content/plugins/
2.4. Go to “Plugins” in your WordPress dashboard to see “Snow Storm” listed.
2.5. Activate the Snow Storm plugin by clicking the “Activate” link below it.
With the Snow Storm plugin activated, go to Settings > Snow Storm in the WordPress dashboard to configure your falling snow.
