[SOLVED] Subscribe to newsletter on shopping cart checkout?

I am using both the shopping cart plugin and the newsletter plugin on my site. Is there a way to add a checkbox to the shopping cart checkout to allow people to subscribe to the newsletter?

I have seen there is a plugin for contact form 7? Can that be used in any way to do this?
