Exclude first image from gallery in the slideshow

What I'm trying to do is to exclude very first image from the gallery. I use it at single.php via a ahortcode.

Is that possible?

Thanks for your support request.

That is unfortunately not a built-in feature and would require some coding. I assume you have a valid reason for wanting to retain the image in the gallery while not displaying it? Perhaps you could create a second gallery without the image?
