[SOLVED] Warning: Creating default object from empty value in .../wp-checkout/...

edited January 2014 in Shopping Cart plugin
Checkout Version 1.7
Wordpress Version 3.8
  • PHP Version : 5.4.24 / 64Bit OS
  • Domain: http://www.theheartofawoman.net
  • The shopping cart plugin is displaying "Warning: Creating default object from empty value in .../wp-checkout/models/option.php on line 100" on all pages.  I have updated to 1.7 as well as activating and deactivating the plugin.  Do you have any tips on how to resolve this warning?
Thank you!

    Thank you for your post.

We have fixed this problem in our latest development.
We will have this released withing the next few days with many other improvements and fixes.
We can send you a new build of the plugin to install if you send us a ticket: http://tribulant.com/support/

Alternatively, you can turn off PHP error_reporting to prevent these.
You can put the following code at the top of your wp-config.php file: http://pastebin.com/p2sEKiXi

Let me know if that helps and if you have any other questions.

Has this been fixed? I am currently running WordPress Shopping Cart v1.7

I've had nothing but issues with it since I bought it. One Windows hosting, I got broken thumbnails, but I understand PHP plays betterw ith Linux.

I redid all my hosting over to Linux and now I'm getting these errors on a fresh WordPress install. This is costing me money on a project at this point, really just need Shopping Cart to work--the tiered pricing is wonderful. image

    @kerapolis

This has been fixed in our latest development build or you can follow the instructions in my post above.
If you want the development build, please post a ticket: http://tribulant.com/support/

The thumbnails in the Shopping Cart plugin uses TimThumb.
If there is an issue with that, let us know and we'll help you to find the problem.

Which other problems have you had?

I look forward to hearing from you.
