How come I cannot center a slideshow within a post?

When I center the object, the text is centered, but not the slide show.

<p style="text-align: center;">text[tribulant_slideshow]text</p>

Any suggestions?

If I use DIV tags, it will center all text, but not the slideshow.

Hmm, this seems to do the trick:

<div style="width:1000px;margin:auto;">[tribulant_slideshow]</div>

Slideshow has a forced width of 1000px

Hmm, seems to work in Chrome, but not I.E

I.E seems to be shifted an extra 200-300px to the right.

That way I can suggest some CSS that you can use to center it.
