Link to Specific Slide in Slide Show

Hello,

I am trying to find a way to link to a specific slide in the slide show. The URL doesn't change for whatever slide is open for the page with the slide show on it.

I was told I might be able to do this with a hashtag? Sorry I am new to this so please forgive my ignorance.

Do you want to link one slide to another slide so that when you click on the slide, it goes to the other slide?

I look forward to your response with more details on the effect you want to achieve.

Basically I want to link from my homepage to new slides in the slideshow, so when you click the link on the homepage, it takes you to the slideshow page at the designated slide.
