Placing images in the newsletter

I am a complete Newsletter virgin and have just formulated my first ever newsletter in time for Valentines day.

I added in a couple of images which look good and in their place on the part where I am creating the newsletter. It is in the preview where the images cut right through words and sentences, 

does anyone know how I can get both the preview and the part I have created to look the exact same.

It's hard to say because I can't see the issue as you describe it but based on what you say, it sounds like it could be the alignment of the images causing the problem.

Do you have a screenshot to show, please?
