Visual Editor is blank

Hello,

Great plugin.  I've installed it successfully on WP 4.1 but now the Visual Editor is showing up completely white and unfortunately the culprit is the Slideshow Gallery plugin (if I remove it from the plugin folder the Visual Editor shows me its content).  Any ideas?

I believe it's conflict with your theme or another plugin? Do you see any Javascript errors in your console?

Is it possible to open a ticket http://tribulant.com/support/ with login details and a link to your site to have a look at your issue please?

Thanks so much for the quick response!  There is indeed a js error, the plugin cannot load a tinymce plugin:

Failed to load: http://ceblog.sva.edu//plugins/slideshow-gallery/js/tinymce/editor_plugin.js (tinymce.min.js, line 4)

Okay, I see what the problem is.  It's looking for the script in 

http://ceblog.sva.edu//plugins/slideshow-gallery/js/tinymce/editor_plugin.js

when it needs to find it here:

http://ceblog.sva.edu/wp-content/plugins/slideshow-gallery/js/tinymce/editor_plugin.js

quick fix?

okay, well, i did some detective work and was able to resolve this in a quick and dirty kinda way:

in slideshow-gallery.php:

function mce_external_plugins($plugins) {

// $plugins['gallery'] =  $this -> url() . '/js/tinymce/editor_plugin.js';

//was searching for: http://ceblog.sva.edu//plugins/slideshow-gallery/js/tinymce/editor_plugin.js

//when it needed: http://ceblog.sva.edu/wp-content/plugins/slideshow-gallery/js/tinymce/editor_plugin.js

$plugins['gallery'] =  '/wp-content/plugins/slideshow-gallery' . '/js/tinymce/editor_plugin.js';

return $plugins;

}

not particularly pretty but it works…

This is probably related to how my i've set up WP as a git submodule and have a slightly different directory structure (http://ajk.fi/2013/wordpress-as-a-submodule).  That said, all other plugins are working just fine.

I'm very glad to hear that you managed to resolve the problem.

It is due to your structure it seems, yes. We haven't had other complaints regarding it.

I'm adding this to our development list so that we can make provision for it in the next release of the plugin.
