Import Users based on Categories

I am using a second plugin Paid Membership Pro, which allows users to signup and be assigned a category. That category limits which content on the site they see I have a corresponding Newsletter and would like to automatically import users into the corresponding newsletter when they sign up. Is there a simple way to accomplish this?

I think the best way of achieving this would be to do an actual integration so that you can choose which category should go to which mailing list upon sign up, how does that sound?
