Keep Formatting of Excerpts

When making a post and sending it as a newsetter, the newsletter strips the formatting out of the expert.  I would like to keep the formatting of the excerpts when they populate into the newsletters that get sent out. 

How can I do this?

    Thank you for your post.

    Technically there is no way of doing this because a WordPress excerpt is a truncated and stripped version of the post and the HTML/formatting will always be removed from it. The WordPress Newsletter plugin uses the_excerpt() function of WordPress to output excerpts so it uses the WordPress conventions.
