Shipping Confirmations

When we flag an order as having been shipped should the customer be receiving an email letting them know?  This seems to be standard ecommerce practice but I can't seem to find anywhere in WP Shopping Cart to set this up.  Is this ability even in the product?

    Hi John,

    The customer isn't automatically notified when an order is marked as "Shipped," but he can be updated on his order manually by editing the order,
    checking the "Notify the customer" checkbox and adding a note for the
    customer (e.g. "Your order has been collected by ACME Shipping Co.").
    When the order is saved, the email notice will be sent to the customer.
