Slideshow not working

Hi

I have the plugin Slideshow Gallery (v 1.2.2) on my wordpress site (v 3.4.2)

I can't update the plugin because we made ​​some changes => the plugin is now in slideshow background.

However, this is not because of that changes that the plugin does not work (it functioned very well before with our modifications). There was an error:
HTMLScriptElement is not a function (Evaluating tag ('li', s) on line 20 of gallery.js

Why this error appeared like that? How to fix it?

    Sorry for the post. I found a plugin was a conflict with the slideshow ...
    Good day!

    EDIT :     I post here because the topic is closed.
    It was     a script with a JS variable that had the same name as in your slideshow (var tag). By renaming it to work.
