Unable to Drag/Drop Widgets and Upload Images

I have found that some functionality of the WordPress Dashboard is disabled by Slideshow Gallery. I am unable to drag/drop  widgets or open/close sidebars on the widgets page as well as the "upload" button to upload media won't work.

I deactivated Slideshow Gallery and all functionality returned then reactivated the plugin and everything stopped working.

Any ideas why the plugin causes this?

Did you manage to resolve the problem?

If you did, what was the issue specifically?

If not, can you please reupload the Slideshow Gallery plugin files and see if that solves it?

I am running into this same issue with a client. The error is a javascript error in the wordpress admin.

Error: TypeError: jQuery(...).tooltip is not a function
