  My apologies for the very late reply!
  
  If your local copy runs at http://localhost/ or http://localhost/subfolder/, no key is necessary nor will it be required by the plugin.

  Hi there. I also run a local copy, but I don't use localhost in the URL - I use http://sitename.dev.  Can I use the FAQ plugin on my local site?

  Sure, you can use a copy on your localhost, no problem.

  If you need a serial key for that hostname you mentioned for the FAQ plugin, please submit a ticket to us to generate it additionally for you: http://tribulant.com/support/
