Page load time
I have been running the P3 profiler to take a look at the effect of plugins on page load time. Currently the newsletter plugin is responsible for approximately 0.8s of this which does seem a bit excessive. Is this what you would expect or are there a few things I can do to try and shave some time of this?

Thank you for your post and for your feedback on performance.
Is the 0.8s added to the page load time consistent or does it go up/down?
If it is not consistent, it could happen as crons from the plugin are running.
Are you using the standard WordPress cron for your WordPress installation?
Or have you tried DISABLE_WP_CRON as well as replacing it with a server cron?
Please see this as it may help increase performance: http://tribulant.com/blog/wordpress-2/replace-wordpress-cron-with-real-cron-for-site-speed/
I have disabled Wordpress cron and am using server cron to run the wordpress cron php file as per one of your blog articles. I was doing this as part of trying to fix autoresponder and email scheduling! Neither has worked yet.
The 0.8s load time is fairl consistent. It might go down t 0.7s or so but it never goes away. Max from any other plugin is 0.3s.

May I have a link to your site to check?
If you can't provide it here, can you submit a ticket, please: http://tribulant.com/support/
I look forward to your response.

@creativitymatters
I see that you're already using the
default2
theme folder in the Newsletter plugin which is good.Apart from that, we would like to run a test, deactivate the plugin and run another test.
That way we can compare and see what is causing the load.
Can you please submit a ticket so that we can check that? http://tribulant.com/support/
I have been away for a few days so will sort this as soon as possible
@creativitymatters
Did you create a ticket for this yet?
There have been some improvements to performance in version 4.5.5.4 of the Newsletter plugin. Can you check if that has made any significant improvement?
I look forward to your response.
