Problem with Thumbnails

edited July 2015 in General

Hey guys,

Lately I've been having a problem with my slideshows thumbnails. They are not being displayed, just the first image (it seems like there are not any other, but they are) and the only one that is being displayed, it does with incorrect dimensions (like cropped or something) and I've tried changing dimensions but it isn't working. I would be very grateful if you could help me.

Here is the example of what I'm saying:

    Hello!

I'm facing the very same issue: http://ravina.com.ar/?p=131

There are several thumbnails, but it displays only one, and over-dimensioned. It seems to be loading thumbnails from the gallery folder instead of the thumbnails folder, so it ends up using as thumbnails the real pics

In my case, I developed the site in a domain of my own and then I migrated wp-content + database to production domain. I'm having this issue in production. Any idea?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello,

After further investigation we were able to reproduce the mentioned issue, please make sure the following settings under the plugin "Slideshow > Configuration" section are properly filled with proper dimensions for your thumbnails: http://screencast.com/t/XAFPDSUFL7f

Let us know if it helps ok?

    All the best!

    Hello Vitor, Thanks for answering!

Well, my problem is solved. As you mentioned I checked  thumbnails dimension property and it was set 60x60. What I did was to "reset" the values. I set those to null, then to zero (just in case null values are ignored), then again to 60x60. After this, thumbnails are back in their size.

Thank you very much for the quick response and the fix, really appreciated! keep up the good work! congrats!

Hi again, not happy I'm back =(, but I'm still having this issue. It came out of nowhere. Also, another thing I noticed is that in the slideshow list, menu "Manage Slides", pictures are really big, like in their original size, look: http://prntscr.com/7zqlof. This other issue was also there before, it's just I didn't mention it, and I don't know if the last workaround fixed it out.

Another detail, when I check through element inspector, I can see the images are taken from the gallery folder instead from the thumbnails'

Sorry the hassle, and thanks again!
