Are you sure someone send the newsletter from your site and that it was not scheduled to send on this day?
Please ensure that security on your site is in order to prevent people from hacking it.
Two tips:
1.) Install Captcha http://tribulant.com/blog/wordpress-2/protect-wordpress-with-google-recaptcha/
2.) Install iTheme security to improve security on your site. https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-wp-security/
