Simple Payment Form

edited August 2017 in Shopping Cart plugin
Hello. I am looking for a way to configure an entry to the Checkout process whereby the user enters an invoice number and amount and clicks Pay Now, and that invoice number becomes the product the user is purchasing for the amount the user enters.

Then the user goes through the checkout process to pay that invoice.

Field: Invoice #
Field: Invoice Amount
Button: Pay Now

Essentially we are using this as a payment method for services rendered and invoices received.

I see how to configure Shopping Cart to work with categories and products, but I am hoping there is a way to add this simple form as the means for kicking off the checkout/payment process.

Please advise. Thank you!

You can create a variable product so that the customer can fill in an amount and then attach a custom field to the product as well for the invoice number.

There isn't any simple payment form specifically but rather just a product, that's the best way to do it. You can put the product in buy now mode so that the customer goes directly through to billing without having to use the shopping cart functionality itself.
