IP Blocker

In this article, we explain how you can use the IP Blocker (previously known as IP Deny Manager) in cPanel to block access to your website from a specific IP address or IP address range.

On the cPanel main page, scroll down to the Security section. Click the IP Blocker icon. This takes you to the IP Blocker screen. In the section called Add an IP or Range: Enter the IP address you wish to block in the first box. Click the Add button, and it will take you to the verification page. You have successfully blocked anyone using that IP address from accessing your website. Click the Go Back link.

Below you'll find the list of currently blocked IP addresses. At the end of a row for each IP is a button to click if you wish to delete it from the blocked list. After removing it, the IP will no longer be blocked from your website.

Click on the HOME button (the icon with many squares) in the upper left corner to return to the main cPanel page. This is the end of the tutorial.

Now, you know how to block and unblock an IP address from visiting your website.

You can now exit cPanel by using the LOGOUT button in the upper right corner, or by closing your browser. Remember, if you are using a public computer, ALWAYS log out of cPanel before closing your browser, due to security reasons.
