Payfast is South Africa's most popular payment processor and we integrated it into our WordPress Shopping Cart plugin for you to use as a payment method.
The Payfast extension plugin will give you Payfast payment gateway/processor functionality on your WordPress website using our Shopping Cart plugin.
Customers will add products in your shop, go through checkout and get redirected to Payfast's secure payment page where they can make a payment accordingly. The payment options available will depend on your Payfast account setup but ideally you want your customers to be able to use an existing Payfast account, a credit card, the Payfast EFT option, etc. After completing the payment, the customer is returned to your site with an order confirmation page.
This Payfast extension plugin supports the Payfast passphrase as well as Payfast recurring payments/subscriptions.
