Banners: Flash clickTAG

You can publish Flash banner ads on your WordPress website using the WordPress Banner Rotator plugin. The plugin can also track clicks on these Flash banner ads using the Flash clickTAG mechanism.

Create a Flash clickTAG banner

In order for the Banner Rotator plugin to track clicks on a Flash banner ad, the banner ad must be clickTAG enabled/compatible. Many ad publishers will provide you with Flash clickTAG ready banners, so just enquire about this.

Once you’ve created your Flash clickTAG banner, you can continue to the step below.

Save a Flash Ad

Go to Banners > Adverts and click the “Add New” button to create a new banner ad. Or, you can edit an existing one.

Fill in the ad title, specify Flash as the Ad Type, browse to your Flash Click Tag banner and then enable Click Tag, which allows you to fill in a Click Tag URL to redirect to.

Fill in the rest of the fields for the banner ad according to your needs, then save it and you’re done.
