Display donations during checkout

For every $10 sale in our shop we donate a 50c to selected charities. 

We need to show customers how much is the donation value of their purchase during checkout.

Is there any option that we can achieve this?

Also we would like to show a graph to reflect donations we have made to date, which should be updating real time when a customer is making a sale.

Will it require some custom modification of the plugin? I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you

    Thank you for your post and sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

    You can do this with a global custom field in the Shopping Cart plugin to some extent.
    The only problem is that global custom fields have a fixed amount and won't calculate such a price for you.

    I'm adding this to our development list so that we can create percentage based prices for custom fields. In the meanwhile, can you use a fixed price and see if that works?
