Slideshows Not Showing Up, Loading Forever
Hi there,
One day the slideshow galleries are working perfectly and the next day they're gone and replaced by a loading circle, spinning endlessly. I'm running the latest version of WordPress (3.5) and the latest version of the plugin (1.2.3.2). I tried to create a new slideshow to see if I could rebuild the slideshows, but that also gave a loading circle. What's going on?!
Here are the links to my page with the slideshows:http://blog.thecanadianencyclopedia.com/blog/posts/the-dogs-of-canadian-history/

Also, I posted the same query of Wordpress.org, so if you answer my question here, I will mark that post as "resolved."
Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your post.
It seems that either your theme or another plugin is interfering with the Slideshow Gallery plugin, causing Javascript errors as you can see here: http://screencast.com/t/UeAQkg1b9P1
Would it be possible for you to disable/reenable your other plugins on an elimination basis, all the while checking to see which one is interfering? Last resort would be to switch your theme so as to check that as well.
Please let me know if this helps, will you? I look forward to your reply
Best regards,
Phil
Thanks for your reply.
I don't recall suggesting using a different plugin, but if you're happy that's what counts! :-D
Pity though, we would have liked to come to grips with what caused your slideshow to stop working out of the blue. Something must have changed somewhere.
Perhaps you'd like to activate the plugin again, create a slideshow on a hidden page and allow us to investigate?
I look forward to your reply.
Kind regards,
Phil
