The only easy way you could do that, really, is by setting your products as custom post types instead of normal posts.
You can do that under Checkout > Configuration > General > Posts/Pages and Categories Settings, by setting "Default Post Type" to "Custom Post." Then you should click the "Update all shop posts/taxonomies" link at the top of the right sidebar to complete the process.
Please note though that this will cause your products to no longer be displayed among your normal blog posts or in your site's normal WordPress categories.
