Let Customers Pay Without a PayPal Account
Let Customers Pay Without a PayPal Account.
PayPal is a service that enables you to pay, send money, and accept payments without revealing your financial details. It is used across the globe and almost goes without saying that everyone has the PayPal account. But that isn’t always the case.
Let’s say you own a business and your customer wants to pay for your service/product online, but they don’t have a PayPal account. With PayPal Express, the default is set to ask customers to log in to PayPal (or create a PayPal Account). It is highly likely that you will loose a customer if they feel forced to create a PayPal account in order to make a payment.
Fortunately, there is a very useful feature available, which lets your customers pay with their credit cards, without having a PayPal account. You can enable this feature within your business PayPal account in a few easy steps:
1. Log in to your business PayPal account on PayPal.com.
2. Enter your profile page, by clicking on the gear icon in the right upper corner:
3. On your profile page, Under My selling tools, choose Website Preferences. Click on Update link to change the settings.
4. On the next page, scroll down to PayPal account optional section like in the screenshot bellow:
Switch to On, if you want your customers to be able to pay without a PayPal account or Off if you want to disable this feature. Don’t forget to save your settings.
Turning this feature on will not only ensure that your customers are happy that you gave them an alternative way of making a payment, but also your business won’t be at loss. Please note that this feature may not be available in some countries. To find out whether this affects the country where your business is located, please contact the PayPal support team.
