August 2013 Newsletter

As usual, we had a busy month here at Tribulant Software. August was packed with excitement and happenings as we developed on our WordPress plugins, offered support and improved all areas we possibly could. Let me tell you a bit about what happened during August.

New Releases

Amazing new releases were made during the month of August. They were all related to the WordPress Newsletter plugin though. Have a quick overview:

WordPress Newsletter plugin 4.0

A major release of the WordPress Newsletter plugin with loads of new features, improvements and bug fixes as well. Feel free to read the announcement and the release notes.

Here are some of the changes:

• Auto recurring newsletters with options
• Date range for subscribers when sending
• Reminders and deletion of inactive subscribers
• reCAPTCHA security image integration
• Honeypot implementation for spam prevention
• iFrame offsite code alternative
• And much more…

Newsletters – WP eMember Subscribers

We integrated WP eMember plugin and our WordPress Newsletter plugin with the use of an extension plugin named WP eMember Subscribers. You can now capture email/newsletter subscribers from WP eMember based on member level and the setup is flexible.

Newsletters – s2Member Subscribers

WordPress s2Member plugin is an extremely powerful WordPress membership plugin and it just got a whole lot more powerful with the s2Member Subscribers extension plugin to save email subscribers from your s2Member plugin registration forms based and member levels and more. It integrates both s2Member and s2Member Pro plugins with our WordPress Newsletter plugin.

Newsletters – Contact Form 7 Subscribers 1.1

This is a free extension plugin and anyone using WordPress Contact Form 7 plugin and our WordPress Newsletter plugin can install it and start using it immediately. Version 1.1 was released to address a bug with a Javascript error and also to implement automatic updates through WordPress for future versions. New Online Demos

We have new online demonstrations for our WordPress plugins!

We’ve always had online demonstrations for all of our premium WordPress plugins but they weren’t always in great shape due to users editing content, deleting things and even removing the demo user account. This prevented potential customers from using our demos to their full potential as we would like them to.

The online demonstrations are now synced from a locked, external source periodically to ensure fresh, working demos at all times. The sync happens every few hours and restores the demos to their original state with a working demo user account, sample content and activated plugins as needed.
